Good news: more free time.
Bad news: less pay.
I still am working, but I forgot (well I didn't forget per se so much as I misremembered the timing of the change) there was a schedule change, such that for the next while I'm not working on the weekdays anymore. Which is honestly sigh-worthy, since honestly I actually like those shifts more. I love the consistency of the Sunday shift, and it's a shift I've held for four years now, but it is also the shift where I get most consistently into trouble RE: towel runs.
My weekday shifts on the other hand I often can easily justify not doing so off of whatever reasons. And furthermore, there is often male staff working those times anyway, thereby making it no longer a necessity for me to do them. Also, I'm going to get a hard time from my mom, even though this is something I obviously have no control over. I don't set the times I work. I just work what I am assigned. And they know how many hours I am looking for, so they know that I am looking for more work than I am being given.
Still doesn't stop her from getting all pissy about it.
Ah well. It is what it is.
