In it, it was brought up that obsidian is glass. (A fact I knew already.)
This got me to wikipedia obsidian.
From there, about two dozen tabs got opened--this is not the slipping away you think it is! They're all closed now, with no tabs replacing them, thankyouverymuch. I did waste a couple hours on the Aztecs, numerous weapons, their social status, armor, shields, and similar, but that? Got closed.
The damage done was making me think about a couple of childhood games, Age of Empires II and far more deadly...
...Civilization III.
I figured.
"Well, too bad, craving to waste my life. You can't find the correct CD and even if you did, installing it on your computer would be a royal pain."
Unfortunately.
I'm not stupid enough to listen to my brain, even when I should.
And on a whim, I searched to see if Civilization III with the appropriate expansions, was available on steam.
...It is.
WELP.
The good news is.
I haven't bought it yet!
The bad news is.
It's only a matter of time before I cave in and end up buying it, sucking my life away.
At least it's not yet!
