That’s great! …What KIND?
That’s great! …What KIND?
Yes, she’s calling out Tropes by name. It’s that kind of series. The answer to the alt-text will become clear as the series progresses, but obviously at least partially the Warrior type given her transforming bow.
...As for the page, this is my best work ever.
So I wanted to show the full-sized version of the page, because of how much detail I put in, but it's because I put so much detail in I need to highlight the flaws:
See how her bow handle has a shadow? That's an error. Similarly, the bow handle is opaque when it should be partially transparent.

This is a bit of a nitpick, but the shadow has a white outline, thanks to wrong order of operations (I transformed THEN filled, where I should've filled THEN transformed).
I have a similar misapplication in the handling of the sketch layer, too. Plus, this is detail-work, but basically: this is one of the only images I anticipate ever drawing of a hand so close...and I didn't include fingernails.

And while not an error per se, there's a difference in the bow between this page and the cover page. Speaking of the bow, as a probable (but not necessarily) error, the arrow appears to pass right through bow handle.

Otherwise, love everything there.

Let’s give this a shot!
Let’s give this a shot!
It begins.
I'm a week early, so it'll be two weeks before you see me update here (this is not the flagship site), but all the same, I thought I'd celebrate a milestone in my work by posting this.
Also, yes, I did in fact forget my artistic signature. Oh well.
You'll see a lot of art variation between here, page 1, and page 2, but things should get more consistent after that.
