...Finishing reading the webcomic True Villains. (And its corresponding TVTropes page). Thank god I had the restraint not to do a reread (though I was awfully tempted). Butstill.
All that time, down the drain. What is it about Villain Protagonist webcomics? That's like the third at minimum I've read start to finish. (I tend not to start reading incomplete villain protagonist webcomics, either, for some odd reason; they're almost always completed. Or indefinite hiatus at a convenient stopping point, but close enough.) And technically speaking, the webcomic I was writing before my current one centered around a villain protagonist. (Technically, two.)
I guess I just have a soft spot for the tropes that entails. (Incidentally, Xaneth has a creepily high resemblance to Argus which is completely coincidental--Argus started his life quite deliberately taking cues from a different villain protagonist, Aldran, with actually his entire four-man band being a direct homage to the Anti-Heroes themselves. Though I'm not sure they quite qualify as villain protagonists, bit rusty on the subject and would need to reread the comic to make a better call. Regardless, they're at least the same type of mold which villain protagonists take.)
And right now, there's like half a dozen things I'm supposed to be doing but which I don't have done.
Instead of working on them, here I am, blogging.
Which certainly strengthens my credentials in the certifiable moron department.
At this point, I'm going to try and start some semblance of productivity.
