I'm going to be going to bed soon but before I do, I just want to say.
Mosquitoes right now are vicious (at least I would certainly hope these are mosquito bites as that is the least unpleasant option; fleas or really bad body reactions are obviously less desirable).
I have a mosquito bite basically on my head: fully covered by hair, technically on the neck but so high up that it's basically on my skull.
I have no less than 7 bites (albiet with 3 zones being overlapped where two bites have basically merged into one) on my right leg, and no less than 5 bites on my left leg--this, in spite of the fact that I was wearing full pants when I went outside.
So either we got a ton of mosquitoes who bit me inside (which is vicious because there shouldn't be that many inside), or we got mosquitos capable of biting through reasonably thick clothing (which is also vicious because they shouldn't have been able to).
They didn't bite anywhere else as far as I can tell, but I'm somewhat confused as to how I got the bites. That level of bite you'd think I'd notice inside, and while outside in the dark during fireworks I wouldn't, you'd think that through my relatively thick pants, I wouldn't get bitten.
In fact in past years I've never been bitten by mosquitos that much while wearing the exact same leggings. I did check them; they were zipped properly so there wasn't a massive gap on the leg, so it's strange that this year I randomly got eaten alive in my legs.
So right now I've got a lot of irritation in my legs to say the least. Not much I can really do other than sleep it off and hope to heal quickly.
