Relatively speaking.
So, you know how I am obsessed with getting every Kongregate badge of the day (and even if I miss one or two a week, making absolutely sure to get the golden)?
Well, there was a badge I hadn't earned this week. Usually I have 6-7 of the games' badges already, so I just need to click one link and bam, that's it, I'm done. This week was a six rather than a seven though, which meant that I did need to earn that final badge.
It turned out the badge was a medium badge, and for good reason; it is a badge which required a little bit of time to level-grind--as well as looking up what the optimal build was. (Because with a non-optimal build, it'd take even longer with level-grinding.)
That ate up about two hours of my time, which I would've spent on a blog today.
However, this having been done obviously means that now, for the rest of the week, I don't have to worry about that task so...time spent now, so that I don't have to spend it later. Meaning I'll be more free on other days.
Which is why I say it's relatively speaking, smart.
