Well, don't have as much to say as I thought I would, butstill...yeah. Yesterday, job search went really well. My resume was refined to be more appetizing for my specific field, and we covered how to interview a little. I also got a job lead I was told to apply for, and...applied for a job for the first time. This wasn't covered in the session, but I caught a glimpse of it from screen-peaking, and as a result, got a better idea for what sort of salary I could expect for an entry-level job. My estimate was about $3 higher than the actual amount I should expect, so now I know better than to ask for too much.
I also found, via my LinkedIn account, another potential job lead. Plus, my Tae Kwon Do instructor found a potential job lead for me on Tuesday, too, and a copy of the info there will be in my locker when I go to work this Sunday. All-in-all...very much, things are progressing forward.
This is all really, really good stuff. I'll probable dabble in work stuff later tonight out of boredom, too, but mostly, I'm thinking I'm gonna spend the weekend celebrating. Maybe doing nothing, maybe writing, maybe doing Red Hood Rider, but I'm going to spend time doing something out of pure joy, as bad as slacking off may be, simply because...

This is HUGE stuff. It may not be my first job (my first job was refereeing when I was a kid, for younger kids and as an assistant ref for U10+), it may not even be the first job I've had to apply for (that would be lifeguarding, my current part-time job), but it's the first jobs in my field that I have begun to tackle, and it looks like actual, real progress is being made.
