On the low side...HotR refused to load at the college, which was a nuisance. I did get it in earlier in the morning, but it's best checked up on every couple hours, not every eight.
...But that was packed between two highs! The first was receiving what is all-but my final grade in my kickboxing class, and it's an A there, so I should be fine.
The second is that big dyadic encounter assignment I turned in last week. Know how worried I was about it?
Well, it still disappointed me.
...In that I only got a 99/100. Here I was, so concerned I had botched it, and I get a near-perfect score. The reason I'm still disappointed by that, though, is that the single point that got docked off was something that would've taken me thirty extra seconds to fix: printing in color, not black and white. *facepalm*
ONE mistake. Just one, from a perfect grade!
...Yet this, obviously, makes me massively happy. I didn't suck at it. The teacher loved my paper, whereas I was concerned that the last-minute thrown-together thing was a piece of trash. And with this near-perfect score, I'm basically near-guaranteed to get a good grade. Right now, I'm running a 97%. I've got like five things left to do, one due tonight (and, yes, this time it actually IS a paper), but short of absolutely blowing them...I should have this class nailed down.
I am a competent student! I don't suck! When given the right drive, I can do it.
And you have no clue how much I needed to hear that.
