At the same time, there's a strong urge to work on Red Hood Rider, though. While in theory, the two don't conflict, practically, there's only so much time in the day.
Made worse by the fact that...knowing me? I'll probably do neither.
Ah, well.
I do have other things to talk about, though. Namely, my shave. I've gotten a lot of comments on it, in spite of it being a few weeks ago by now. I told the lie at least once, but mainly manage to dodge (by simply not answering at all) or deflect (by having some other topic come up) the question instead, arguably even worse than the lie, but I digress.
Mostly, the comments I get are praise about it, saying that I look five/ten years younger with it. Not exactly the comments I'd HOPE for, mind you, but pleasant to see all the same. (There's also been a fair number asking, "Is it for a girl?" Answer: "I wish.")
That being said, there were some comments that made me actually smile, because while the persons making the comments have absolutely no clue about it, they're on the right track. What did they say? That I look like my (older) sister, now. They may not be aware of it, but literally no thing they say could have been a greater compliment than that, so it was good to hear.
