A quick practice.
So this sketch is not my proudest work, but I was in an artistic rut, so with basically no reference image except for something in my mind, I went to make a drawing as detailed as I could. It took about half an hour to make this, and at that point, I felt I had done as much as I could for her. (It should hopefully be obvious that, yes, this IS a her.)

This one, however, is directly related to Red Hood Rider! Remember all that time ago, when I talked about the character of Asp, and his abilities? Well, this was the sketch of him I mentioned me making. Not really that impressive, but it captured a lot of the key details I was going for.

...And huh, as I was making these, I randomly discovered that weebly can actually do a LOT with images I didn't know about. (Borders, check, that's convenient. Alt-text, check, SUPER-convenient. Captions, check, also useful.) But back on the topic, these two images were meant to help get me out of an artistic rut, and also doubled as concept drawings for potential future Episode covers for Red Hood Rider.

Prologue - page 14. (Ish.)
The reason I'm showing this is because the last panel there is something I'm planning on turning into my avatar.
What I mean is...I'm actually planning on making a change on the mafia site I play on. Ranger, on ComicFury, discarded the scientist in favor of an image more appropriate for her artistic talents. In this case, mastina is planning on discarding the feminine trolol in favor of this image. Which will also double as the comic's avatar, once I clean it up enough for that to be viable.
And yes, I know, the other panels are pretty horrible. I've let my dynamic posing skills for males rust, AND I'm still nailing down Gary's character design (it's one thing to envision him, quite another to bring him to life), so making him is rather difficult. If you can read the notation, I am quite aware that I have Ruby's thumb on the wrong side, and yes, I am taking several artistic shortcuts on her overall.
Still, I think that I'll be able to make the final pages and bring everything together, it's just a matter of a timeframe. I'm aiming for a release at or prior to October 8th, that date of course being the day I joined the mafia site. I know that technically gives me a full month, almost a month and a half, to prepare, but...
