Remember THE tune?
...Kinda hard not to, given how much I talk about it.
It's like...like that tune is my soul or something, and that everything I make music-wise is in some way based on it, the fundamental "sound" of me.
Well, got another one, and this one I think could actually rival THE tune, for one reason:
It's so simple, I can turn it into anything. It's four notes, the bass of something, and unlike THE tune, this one could be used for a song but like THE tune could also equally as easily be instrumental and be used in, say, a video game.
The notes go like this, each short (rather than drawn out), basically half-notes in a ~120 BPM rhythm yet each taking the space of two full measures (meaning about 1.5 measures of silence), though it may be slightly longer (5/8ths, maybe even 3/4ths but probably not).
Ba.
(d1)Doo.
(u1)Da.
(d1)Doo.
(d1 = down at least one from 'Ba', and u1 = at least one up from 'Ba'.)
And endlessly repeating. That might not sound like much, but it's actually groundbreaking. Its simplicity gives it versatility, and I've already expanded that bass at least three different ways, some with words and it working.
Very excited about it.
