So I had meant to have half an hour available of free time--five to ten minutes eating, five to ten minutes writing this note, and the remainder of my free time resting. That...didn't happen.
Instead, I found that some pudding in the lunchbag I carry had managed to explode. Spent 25 minutes (out of my thirty total, mind you) cleaning that up as best I could (so...much...stiiiiiiiiiiiiicky stuuuuuuff...), effectively leaving me hungry and exhausted, with my mind high-strung on a distraction.
That distraction being, once more, another new ability for Ruby: Arbalest Armor, unlocked at the same time Sally discovers her 'knife' ability, approximately. It's basically what you'd expect, making a suit of armor out of arrows: forearms, upper arms, legs, and chest, all covered in arrows. (Think very, very loosely like bamboo armor in appearance.) The armor has gaps--the hands, elbows, knees, neck, and head--and slightly limits torso movement, but provides excellent defense since her arrows are nearly indestructible.
...Yet while being classified as an armor, its true power is in the incredible offense offered: each arrow can detach, launch like a holy arrow does (so not at full power, but reasonably close to it), and regenerate seconds later on the body again, replacing the one which was just shot. Meaning that dozens of shots could be fired simultaneously to cover a very large range...or if she staggers the attacks, she effectively makes her arms into Gatling guns.
It gets better: she can use any technique with this armor, meaning that if she blocks an attack at a 'tip' of her arrow-armor, she can use, say, sunblast shot to counter-attack at point-blank range. (Incidentally, by this point, she can time-control her bombs, allowing them to explode mid-air. This, with clever chaining, acts as a limited form of telekinesis.)
The ultimate use of the technique, though, is the Arbalest Arcarrow: she raises her hands over her head clasped together yet pointed, arching her back--effectively, she starts turning her whole body into the bow itself. By rotating her feet, her whole body moves in tandem to aim. Then, she releases, jolting all the energy forward, releasing an 'arrow' that is effectively every single one of her abilities rolled into one. That insane power, of course, is a last resort of last resorts.
When expelled, she's got nothing left, at least not as Ruby herself. It's her ultimate skill, at least as an individual magical girl. To get stronger than that (though she really, REALLY doesn't need to most of the time), she either needs her vampire powers or the assistance of others to top that powerful attack.
