A highlight of her day was finding someone else that was famous, famous enough to have his own wikipedia page. I forget the name, but I think it might've been something starting with an E, and ending with York? He was nobility of some kind. (Duke?) Since my memory for names is so terrible, I'll have to ask in order to remember who he is, because he sounded important and my (older) sister remembered hearing his name in some historical fiction apparently, increasing that, and that'd be neat to blog about. But for the moment, just take my word for it.
...If you couldn't tell, we're primarily of various different British Isles descent. English, Welsh, a bit of Scottish, a strong amount of Irish (over a quarter total thanks to an Irish grandmother--my mother's mother, but there's also some on my father's side), you get the idea, but there was definitely notable German and French names in there, which I've known was there as well.
So fun stuff like that might keep cropping up in my blogs for a while.
