Yeah, about that.
Turns out it was only half right. I didn't make any groundbreaking breakthroughs on the story (just a little bit of mental review here and there), but I did end up working today. Funnily enough, I predicted that I would be asked to work: there was a gap in the schedule, and I BELIEVE (never got confirmation, so I'm HOPING I didn't accidentally just miss a week) there was no TKD this week thanks to Spring Break, meaning I was in theory available, but I was hoping I wouldn't. I could've had my gear prepped when I went to the college, but chose not to. That decision meant that while I could've started working given the right traffic conditions as early as 4:30, it was half an hour later because I had to go home to get my stuff.
Ah, well.
I did get a fair amount of stuff done. Mafia stuff is half-caught-up (as much as such things can be), webcomics are close to up-to-date, I trimmed the number of emails I have slightly (not nearly as much as I should've, though), and am now only two assignments behind the class for my college class, which I'm confident I can do with enough focus.
In other news, THE tune may have a tie to the Broken Bells song The High Road. I may have blogged about this before, but I heard the song today when working, and the bass has some incredible similarities to my tune, THE tune. It's not a direct match, but like with the Black Keys song, it warrants investigation.
That's about it for me for today. Work, and lots of it, got done, but not nearly enough. Still got a ton to do.
