Anyway, while there were a few things I wanted to blog about which I have so promptly forgotten about, I wanted to talk about a song I woke up having stuck in my head. I had vague ideas for what the verses were, but didn't actually know, so I made some up. For the chorus, though, it was oddly clear. Specific. So I'm pretty sure this is a real song. I'm just filling in some blanks with my own flair. Making a lot of it up, with some familiarity. But recording this might allow me to later figure out what it is that I got stuck there.
So here we go, a verse:
No need to fake it,
No need to shake it,
I'm as happy as can be.
No need to take it,
No need to make it,
So get your old back off of me.
Chorus:
Old man,
Old man,
Old man, get your back off of me.
Old man,
Old man,
Old man, get your back off of me.
(The old mans are elongated, obviously.)
Maybe someday, I'll be attentive enough that I'll look it up, but too lazy right now.
