What's so significant about today? Well, other than the fifteenth being in the middle of the month...you'd think not much. Nothing special about the fifteenth of any month. Except for this one, of October. Why?
Well, because according to my untrusty friend the archives, exactly one year ago, on this day, October 15th, 2014...I started a blog:
This blog!
I've reached my first true tangible milestone! I've got almost a full year before I can claim to continuously have blogged every day for a year (thanks to my screw-up in...was it August or September? One of the two), butstill! A year of blogging. A full year, of almost every single day having a blog post, and when you factor in some days having more than one blog post it counterbalances itself such that it evens out and then some.
So much has happened in a year, it's incredible. And I'm just getting started. My blogging skills have, frankly, gone down a bit I'd say, but my life has gotten so...so much more full. I'm more alive than ever. Changed a lot as a woman. My blogs might not be as good as they were, but I've opened up to others thanks in part to them. It's incredible.
I just don't know what to say. I want to mark this milestone somehow with some great post, but this is all I have prepared. Happy birthday, All Too Human! Let it be the first of many.
