(Note: I also worked extra-long today because of certain circumstances I shouldn't describe, but moving on...)
Today, since I had the capability for it, I invented a new ability for Ruby: a move stronger than her finishing moves, but potentially lethal against lesser opponents--in other words, she can only use it when her attacks get No Selled. (The question of what happens when it gets no-selled is asked; Ruby says she has a few other surprises in that case...and if every one of those tricks gets no-selled...the appropriate action is to run the hell away until a new one can be formed.)
This technique is called 'sunburst shot', and is...exactly what it sounds like: a miniature sun formed as the tip of her arrow (replacing the arrowhead), shot just like her normal arrows at her foe, For Massive Damage. (No, quite literally, the technique is absolutely devastating; even an indirect hit can be crippling.)
If her opponent somehow manages to shrug off the an exploding sun (because that's quite literally what happens), then the technique has a second stage (ONLY activated if the first wasn't successful, mind you) where it collapses into a miniature black hole (thus, why this technique is Ruby's rather than, say, Amy's: it uses light and darkness, Ruby's specialty as a Rider), which usually gets through whatever the blast itself could not--but again, it's so strong, every time she uses it she risks killing her opponent (similar to Amy's ultimate technique in that regard), thus, it's not seen much after its debut.
(Post-script note: dance was fun. I was absolutely exhausted from eight hours of work, ten hours between meals, and the fatigue of both, especially in the unbearable heat, but I survived to enjoy it.)
