Not optimistic.
I arrived shortly before 1:30. The event allegedly went until 2, but apparently, "from 10 until 2" really meant "from 10 until 1", so I was half an hour at minimum late to catch anything. I did manage to catch some things, barely, so it's not like I did nothing at all there, meaning it wasn't a complete waste. It's just, scale of one to ten on what sort of impression I think I made?
...2.
At best.
What I learned from this is that a job fair is quite literally like an impromptu interview: the same experience of a live-time interaction interviews give...just without the prep time on my end to be ready to present myself properly. So of course, I'm not going to leave a notable image to them. Or if I do, not a good one.
I do have something to show my mom, and did hand out a few resumes so she'll know that I was somewhat-productive, but...personally, I would be very surprised if anything actually came from this.
But hey! At least I did something. Something which was even, vaguely, productive! Now if you don't mind, I've still got a lot to do today, so I think I'll get started on trying to keep my life together.
